Team pilot playbook · 7-minute read

A useful pilot tests a real workflow—not just the software.

How to scope a focused EnduraX pilot around one coordination problem, the right people, and a decision the program can actually evaluate.

01

Name the coordination problem first.

“Try EnduraX” is not a pilot question. Begin with a moment the program wants to improve: readiness context arrives too late, athletes repeat the same story to multiple people, or staff cannot see whether a follow-up happened.

Choose one workflow that matters and can be observed without promising a medical or performance outcome.

  • What happens today?
  • Where does context get lost?
  • What human decision should become easier to coordinate?
02

Use the smallest cohort that still represents reality.

A useful cohort includes enough athletes and roles to exercise the actual permission and handoff model. A demo with one administrator cannot reveal what happens between an athlete, coach, and care team.

Document roster, sport, season timing, participating roles, systems, integrations, and the data categories that are deliberately out of scope.

03

Run the complete human workflow.

The pilot should include at least one full cycle: athlete check-in, optional connected context, readiness review, bounded staff view, human follow-up, and a recorded operational outcome.

Measure whether the right conversation happened with less fragmentation—not whether a score was high, a streak continued, or an injury was supposedly prevented.

04

Review before expanding.

Bring athletes and every participating role into the review. Ask what was understandable, what felt intrusive, what was missing, and what created extra work.

Then choose to expand, revise, pause, or end. Confirm the next scope, permission changes, support needs, export, retention, and deletion steps before the decision takes effect.
